On May 23rd, a grand opening will take place in the UAE. For several decades now, the country, which has grown into a technological and thriving oasis in the midst of the desert, has been setting new records, sometimes even surpassing its own. This time, we can expect an amazing opening of a theme park dedicated to marine life. But the main attraction of Sea World Abu Dhabi will be the world's largest multi-species aquarium.
The park will have a water volume exceeding 58 million liters. The diversity of fish and reptiles has amazed even experienced divers - more than 100,000 species of marine animals will find their home in this park. Among the declared inhabitants, you can find sharks, fish, rays, sea turtles, reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Birds will also inhabit the park.
It is known that the park consists of several themed zones. They will be divided based on the climate that the inhabitants are accustomed to. This will allow animals to be kept in their familiar temperatures and conditions.
The Abu Dhabi Ocean themed zone will give guests an idea of the life and species diversity of animals living along the coast of the Persian Gulf. In addition, visitors can learn a lot of facts about the history, traditions, and culture of the UAE. There is a separate exhibition that introduces guests to pearl fishing, which was arguably the most popular activity among the indigenous population several decades ago.
The Tropical Ocean zone promises to be perhaps the most exotic in the entire park. The organizers do not reveal all the secrets, but it is already known for sure that this part of the park will be very beautiful and unusual. The landscape is presented with dancing waterfalls, lush vegetation, and the crystal-clear lagoon is inhabited by dolphins and flamingos. There are no more beautiful and romantic places to be found.
The Polar Ocean Zone, located in the hot Arabian Emirates, is also quite exotic. The park organizers made sure that tourists could feel all the climatic features and as if transported to the expanses of Antarctica and enjoy the views of the Arctic tundra. The temperature here is brought to the closest values of this climatic zone. Therefore, penguins and walruses living here feel at home. And not only them, many other species of animals and birds typical of this region live in the Polar Ocean zone.
The Endless Ocean zone will become the highlight of the entire park. It is here that the world's largest aquarium is located. With 25 million liters of water and an incredible diversity of marine life, the aquarium is styled as a giant sea cave and houses 68,000 species, including eels, rays, and sharks mentioned earlier.
If you are planning to travel to the UAE in the next few months, make sure to purchase tickets to the park in advance, as the crowds are expected to be huge.
